  1. 2018 V4 with only 1215 miles on the clock.
Maintained regardless of cost and just service today then ridden home!

Extras approx £2,750 and so new this would cost circa £22k - I'm looking for £16,995 or nearest offer. Based in East Sussex.

The livery is just a vinyl outline sticker so can easily be peeled off. The front and side is covered in professionally installed Xpel PPF so there's not a mark on it, and if you (which I assume you will) remove the vinyl, you'll have factory fresh paint as it was done only days after I bought it new.

All extras installed by Ducati main dealer + all servicing and recalls:
    • V4 "Panny" cherished plate included in sale
    • Evotech tail tidy
    • Evotech adjustable levers
    • Evotech radiator guards
    • Ducati Official carbon heels guards
    • Ducati Rizoma racing fuel cap
    • Ducati Rizoma bar ends in red & black
    • Pro Grip V4 Speciale grips
    • Mirror block off LED turn signals
    • Carbon fibre front mudguard
    • Carbon fibre reservoir arms
    • Carbon fibre key guard surround with red probolts
    • Ducati Battery maintainer
    • Black powder coated exhaust cover
    • Side stand extender bolt
    • Anti-scratch instrument display cover
    • Moto GP thermal lined garage cover
    • Front and rear paddock stands
    • Original tyres with hardly any wear
    • Garaged and covered all its life, washed and maintained monthly without fail with fluids warmed properly.

  3. I know those look nice and professional and are fancy camera shots. but just take normal pictures of the complete bike, that way people can actually see what your selling.

  8. It looks photo shopped that's all, hardly detailed is it? I mean if your going to sell a Quote very special bike then do it justice? It's not rocket science here you know??

  10. Neither, I just wanted to give the guy some reasonable advice given he is selling a considerable amount of bike circa £17K and that he should make some more effort in the pictures of said advert. Would you be happy on buying this from pictures if you could not view the bike? I guess not? so he has to be aware that some purchases like myself have bought bikes from extensive pictures rather than seeing the bike in person. That's all

  11. Can’t see a single thing wrong with the picture personally, bike looks sweet. No way I’d transfer 16k to someone without seeing it personally anyway, I just like a picture so I know the thing actually exists before I go to inspect with my own eyes

  13. Whereabouts are you based please (roughly)?

  14. His member profile says East Sussex so not a million miles depending on where in Essex you are, am amazed this hasn't been snapped up.

  16. It’s a fair point about lack of pics. How would you like to travel down from Scotland to find out it had some scratches on the right side? Pics cost nothing. When I sell a bike on eBay I put the usual 12 pics up on the post but also a Flickr link to another 80 or so hi res pics that show every part of the bike, plus a link to a YouTube walkround video.

Here is a link to pics of a bike I have on eBay US at the moment.

Generally I get above average money for the bikes l sell. Several were sold to the UK. I also buy all my bikes without seeing them. That way I have the whole of the US available, not just local bikes. I don’t even think about buying bikes with very few pics. Granted the US is a lot bigger than the UK, but you still want your bike to stand out. Potentially in the UK you could sell to a European buyer, sight unseen. But not with just a couple of pics.

Very nice looking bike though. GLWS

  17. If someone was interested, surely they'd simply ask for photos to be emailed, and may be a vid showing it's running. Still doesn't negate travelling and finding its a dog when you get there, but gives you a better idea.

  18. I'd like to think that the type of person buying a bike like this - off an owner as fastidious as me which is clear from the pics and extras - wouldn't simply drive blindfolded from afar with a pocket full of cash without wanting extra info. The bike is immaculate in factory fresh condition.

More pics, videos and service stamps available to a genuinely interested buyer if they're far away as that's only fair. I actually work two jobs and get home late at night most times, just got married and building a house so my time to take pics, in good light, when it's not raining is in fact very limited.

Any chance of keeping this post on topic??

  20. Glws but why would you want to buy a bike with a massive H on the side unless it meant something to you.
Suppose you could be called helm or helmet though?
