Stroll down the promenade and lunch on the beach. Tourist prices though. Cimiez is nice, monastery art gallery etc. Chagall and Matiss galleries are interesting if you like art. Open top bus is worth a ride and helps get your bearings. Tram ride to either end of the line gives a better impression of the locals and the true flavour of the place rather than the tourist bit. Old town is nice. Restaurants on the port are the best. Le Barque Bleue is a nice restaurant. If you’re into footy watch OGC Nice. Bus to the stadium from the centre of town. Bus ride along the coast direction Monaco and stop at Villefranche ,Cap Ferrat, Menton etc is nice day out. Train to Ventimiglia is good day out. Train to Entrevaux on the narrow gauge railway out the back of town is lovely. Hope this helps and hope you have a nice time.
Beach is shit - pebbles! Go 5 mins by train or taxi to Villefranche-sur-Mer beach, it's where the locals go and it's sandy and fab. Boat trips in to Monaco are good and not expensive, but Monaco looks like Coventry by the Sea Lots of good restaurants in Old Nice near the harbour - not too expensive. Piccasso museum in Antibes is worth a vist, and the Bar Le Port & Blue Lady Pub can be fun. Juan Les Pins is a great little town with a nice beach (Pam Pam bar). The train runs along the coast so the views are great and it makes it more interesting. That said the Gourges de Loup are beautiful and a nice drive, and take in Eze the stunning mountaintop village overlooking the med.
