Hiflow Filters

  1. I just received this HF153 filter for my Multistrada. I thought this premium RC filter at £7.50 including post, was a cracking deal. From: https://autoready.co.uk

I read a few reviews of this filter and all looked good.

  2. A lot of that would be post - usually around £5 in your local bike shop :)

  3. I bought an oil filter from a local Ducati dealer for my 900SSie and got a Hiflow filter instead of an original. They told me they used those when original filters were not in stock.

  4. If that's the one with the nut on the top I wouldn't use it to do it up.

I use HF on all my bikes with no issues.

  5. Ham Fist?

  6. Heard rumors if you tighten by the nut they blow oil at high pressure on track. Useful to help undo though.

    That's for HF and K&N.

  7. Always fit by hand after priming and lubing, but mainly to not over tighten - what makes them blow

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  8. Over tighten I guess. Stick a big arsed spanner on that nut and would be very easy to over torque.

  9. Thanks I'll keep that in mind when fitting
