to @Furyous for selling me the 1198 wheels over on for sale. As I said I’m a long term lurker but my Ducati history started recently with a lovely but a little unloved 748 about 5 years ago. Rode it round Assen and fell in love with how these things felt so much like my Tigcraft Rotax Supermono. Upgraded to a super low miles 748SP which did numourous trackdays. Then my 999 which will its way to a new owner shortly and recently bought an 1198 cheap needing work. The 1198 was bought whilst drunk during an evening of this year’s European track pilgrimage on the 999 from a bar in Zandvoort, 14k miles a lot of service history but owner fell out of love with it after brakes siezed and (it turns out) sprag broke up. It had been standing for 18months in the rain and was just £5500 It’s now fully sorted with brand new Ohlins forks/shock I managed to locate in three different countries and final part was the beautiful Marchesini wheels. Brands 31/10 weather permitting... I’ll try and be on here a little more! Hi everyone
