Riding in a monsoon in muggle village (Norwich) earlier. Bike steaming so much it’s fogged the mirrors
It has been a record rainy year for us and it's continuing this week. 2.6 inches of rain closing in on 3 inches within the past 48 hours. Other areas are getting a lot more with flood warnings in effect. Rain is forecasted through Friday. Reminds me of Ray Bradbury's stories All Summer In A Day and The Long Rain. The ground has been soggy and the grass too wet to cut. When a storm comes through trees are easily uprooted and those with rotten spots or woodpecker holes snap right off with a strong enough wind. Curious to see what kind of winter we will have. If this were snow it would be unbelievable. This tree snapped off the night before last. Fortunately a small one. My daughter has quite a few big trees on her property. Two 1-2 foot in diameter went down recently too.
@Chris I need to carry out some cermic tiling today but then maybe a short workday with weather like this & get the bike out.
The calm before the storm. It’s the same here today (and was yesterday) but the remnant of Lorenzo is due to arrive tomorrow, UK on Friday
Heading To Brands Hatch today to watch some track day fun with the boys!! Too good a day to stay in!!
What was the Hill Street Blues T.V show line when all the officers left the precinct for their shifts,,,
More like a dry suit. #538. The Far East (Norfolk) is getting a fair bit today. So of course that’s when a half tonne of split logs is being dropped off and I have to hand ball them all into the lean to☹️
