Impact Wrench

Discussion in 'Clothing, Gadgets & Equipment' started by Expat Jack, Oct 13, 2019.

  1. Hi. looking for recommendations for a reasonably priced impact wrench having just used a mates De Walt DCF899. What a revelation. This one is just a bit pricy for me.
what’s good and cost effective for low use?
    Thanks in advance.

  2. have you got any makita or dewalt batteries?

  3. No. Only Ryobi

  4. That looks pretty good. Doesn’t have to be cordless but would be nice. I will wait for other suggestions but that’s a good option.

Not adverse to a second hand bargain either.

  5. I use milwalki at work mate

  8. Have one of these, great bit of kit. Recently had bike serviced, not sure what torque the mechanic did the rear axle nut to but buggered if I could undo it with breaker bar when fitting new tyres last week. Clarke rattle gun to the rescue; "tacka-tacka-tacka-spin" and off it came.

If it were battery powered they would inevitably be flat as it gets used once in a blue moon. No problem running an extension to the bike to get me out of a bind.
