You can add a spring on the cable to fool it in to running normally. 50p from you local motor factors.
Cheers Siddo Should’ve said .... I tried the drilling out the quadrant and refitting on the spindle allowing it to turn freely ,without moving the valve Still getting the error tho ♂️
Search the thread I did with pictures. Al you need is a small spring and some cable ties and it’s fixed, no need to expensive kit
