Hi The quick shifter I have connects to the coils, I had to modify the loom sent with the shifter as my coils had different connectors, I can convert back to the original HM connectors or a new loom is available from HM for £60 I think? I believe it's called the PLUS? All controlled from the gear leaver. Cheers Pablo
The shifter is fed by the coils, really the shifter is for the Ducatis with the plug mounted coils. Very tidy system.
Hi. I've got this set up for sale. I bought it as a spare for my 996 so dont know if it'll fit correctly. Controller is powered by the battery, the loom plugs into the coils and has an on off switch too. The Looms a bit long, i cut the one on the bike down to keep things neat. It does all work, i've bench tested the whole system and tried the controller and lever on my bike. No problems. I don't know about the gear linkage on the 999, this would turn the selector shaft clockwise to change up though.
