Hit 'Show purposes' and you get the opportunity to say no to everything. For me, I thinks it's device based as I got the message twice, phone then iPad. Andy

Earlier this week I've noticed on my PC Windows 10 / Chrome and my Android phone S10+ that I get a preference screen pop up when opening the forum, 1/3 of the screen asking me to agreed to advertising cookies. Despite being a subscriber I get the occasional pop up. So far Trip advisor three times. Note I'm already logged in when the pop up happens.

Have the forum wizards changed something?

Just got on site now and same message pops up, re my earlier post; #20. (Using same device as yesterday).
Now clicked something different and get to the Forum log in page.

As the first pop up page after clicking led me straight to one of those ‘congratulations you’ve won an Amazon gift card’ pop ups!
Never get any of this crap when logging on to the GS Forum!!

 

Yes , I'm just seeing it now , but wasn't when I checked in an hour ago .

It's driven by Quantcast , so it probably comes from the Xenforo software rather than something particular to ducatiforum

To be a bit clearer , what I saw was a " cover screen " about cookies policy
which has never popped up before on this site

I just had a look at the logs and I can't see the " call-out " for Quantcast
but I can for "OddsMonkey "
More investigation needed ....

Once I've cleared the decks of the usual morning crap , I'm going to boot a Linux rig that has Wireshark installed , then browse to this forum .

That should track down the little varmint , then a bit of reverse look-up.

Are any folks seeing this pop-up before they log on to the forum ?
