I received some lovely presents including a new guitar, wish I could play the bloody thing... My favourite present was seeing daughter number 3’s reaction when she ran down the stairs to see if Santa had come. Her face was a picture. I treasure these moments as before long she’ll be a horrible teenager like daughters 1&2......
Ah yes, I remember now. like many things in life, if you want something done properly then you have to do it yerself. Christmas is no different. so, along with a three bike trailer, and a cheep Chinese field bike, the previous owner threw in this, a, v,v, low millage 2008 crf250x. for not a lot of dosh a tall. right place, right time. yeah baby.
Fuck me mate. Makes me feel like I must have been a proper twat all year! 1 lousy bottle of (decent) aftershave and fuck all else. Still, I did beat last year’s offering so must be getting better!
I did very well, shared the love and warmth of my family. Hands down beats any consumable Christmas tat some are suffering with!
Thankfully nearly bugger all. I tell my family, If I want something, I can already afford it and probably have already bought it and if you buy me something, it's not likely to be the exact same thing I want so will be returned. Every year though a pack of socks or smellies gets through
yip, it was bought as a non runner, I got one of the lads on it, striped and freed up the brakes, blew up the tyres and fired a new plug in to it. boom, run's well and not to loud. i'v only had a wee run up and down the lane at work and if feels like it should lift the front wheel easy enough. I will have it on the track in a few months, where no doubt the lad will want it after I have whooped his ass a few times.
Great engine,can make good power and still reliable with the 90,5 pistons. I have a 2110 as well in my ‘67 bug. And a 1776 in my ‘65 panel van. So also both 90,5 bore. Henk!!!
Nephew got given this. I said I could dispose of it for him in an enviromently safe way, but he wouldn't let me.
