  1. Will do. The swing arm is on the list as the whole thing is being totally dismembered and put back together. The clutch ive had a peak at and its looks ok, but I will get the calipers on it this week for a proper check. I dont think that in all its life the clutch cover has been taken off......

  3. Looking forwards to this.

Check air box gasket, mine was shot in a 01 bike. Also breather hose. Not sure if your bike had QR fuel hoses (don’t think so??) - these were buggered on mine.
To state the obvious- chain & sprockets plus Cush drive rubber check. Fit new chain runners (cheap and available).
Brackets and fasteners. Replace or update. Spring on rear shock might need replacing or tarting up. Tyres?

  5. And clean the insides of the headlights even if they look fairly clean. Makes a big aesthetic difference. Upgrade bulbs at same time.

  6. I might add that I work offshore somewhat of the time and in quite a few places in some places people have never heard of, so this might be a long process over the year (at a best guess). Next stop Vancouver and Victoria from Tuesday, then to Mexico City, and on to Cancun. Followed by Southern Chile, and back to Saudi, UAE, Ghana and f**k me maybe the UK if im lucky before my birthday in April.

If/When/Will post pics and progress. Any help will be warmly welcomed and the darkest part of shropshire I live in is always welcome to a few italian thoroughbreds for a visit with their owners :)

  12. Emailed CJS and he said it would not be a problem for me to bring the bike down to him to sort it all out. Just need to get the bike sorted and back on the road now :D
