House Vs Bikes. House Is Winning.

  1. Seriously thinking about accelerating renovations (roof, plastering, drive, windows, kitchen, bathroom, extension) and mortgage completion by letting some bikes go...

851, 860, GSX-R400 and even (gulp) MHR are all likely to go.

I have ever less time available and some other projects on the go... so I’m 95% certain that these are likely to go bye-byes.

I am sick of eBay, has anyone had any luck with Car and Classic?

  2. Wow that’s some lifestyle decision, will you have any left?

  3. A very big gulp indeed...

  8. Bikes are tough and slow to sell, especially at this time of year, when everyone is gasping for payday.
eBay will bombard you with total time-wasters.
I bought two bikes off C&C, one from Italy and one from France. Both great people.

  9. Unfortunately tough decisions have to be made sometimes Fire but ya gotta find a way of funding the reno's WITHOUT selling the MHR.

  10. I dunno. I’ve experienced it, didn’t think I’d get the chance to enjoy a bevel. It’s a totally different feeling.

  11. In a similar position to you but no intention of selling any bikes, indeed the whole intention is to end up with a big enough garage to get 5 bikes out of the house and possibly another bedroom upstairs as well. Need to do some more sums yet but it has to happen soon as the current garage/kitchen extension is gradually parting company with the main house.

  12. Similar levels of "fix now or enjoy rubble-life" here... :(

Also... I have too many bikes.

  13. Not sure about "too many bikes"? :D

  16. Gsxr 400 I like those what colour is it?

  17. Mortgage completion is great. Then you can spend what you would be paying for the mortgage on bikes instead.
