I get Foil. Arms, & Hogg notifications every week and they are good BUT the YouTube ads are infuriating. Moved on from the seniors and waiting to die ads to this: If you really are in need of gym classes then why is everybody fit, toned, and wearing the right kit? Is that what it is really like?
No its not at all like that. But the Gym/fitness industry is mainly an activity paid for by men. So the pics used in the adverts are ones which appeal to them. Showing a room full of fat arsed blokes and women is less likely to draw in new members... Ever seen an ad for the dentist showing someone sat in the chair screaming with blood coming out of their mouth?
Ads have moved on now. I am not about to die, no longer in need of a gym full of tanned, sleek women, but now get motorbike stuff. Only took 'em about 4 months to catch up! However, a lot of the crap seems to be people filming themselves working on bikes. They always have their best gear on and never get dirty - even the bikes are always gleaming and clean. I have been doing it wrong for years. I'll go and look at putting my ST2 back together. Before I do, I will change into my best gear, clean the garage, and get my hair done. YouTube is so helpful.....
