Antonio The lovely man I bought my 888 from in Salarno Just outside of Sorrento Dug out some pictures of Giancarlo Signing my bike a few years ago Thought I’d share them with you “The Lion”
That bloke in the red top doesn't look like Falappa. Anyway, that's the least of your problems. While your back was turned, that old hobo was scribbling graffiti on your bike.
That’s Antonio and he was 73 years old when I bought it and he was still riding It runs sunny roads of southern Italy and I think he rode it three times to WDW
Nice to see that Ducati still look after Falappa after all these years. I’ve seen his old motor home at a few WSBK races and he’s usually whizzing around on his scooter and still signing autographs bless him. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....ember/whatever-happened-to-giancarlo-falappa/
Absolute legend here in Italy, revered... I was only 10 years old in 1988 so I’m not going to say I saw him race but I know how hard he was because my older friend with a couple of Bimotas mentions him about once a month. The real tough guys in wsbk started with him and ended with Troy Bayliss is the general opinion here
