So the new Disney streaming channel is live in the UK today, subscription is either £6/month or £60/year. I don't subscribe to any of the modern TV/streaming platforms but given the current situation, I’m wondering if something like Disney plus might be a worth it. Seems cheap enough compared to some of the others. Opinions ? Andy
How many times do you want to watch frozen I have no idea really but my wife has Netflix and seems to find all sorts of stuff to fill in days
Ye Yes, my mistake, should have been per month. My girlfriend has Netflix and from what I can see, it’s not the sort of TV I watch. Andy
Tucker on Netflix is good. About a guy that tried to take on the big 3 auto manufactures in Detroit with an innovative car. He was put out if business....
we have amazon prime, netflix, now TV for a year as I got my broadband with them and Apple tv for a year as i bought a new phone. Netflix is good, but it is older films Amazon prime is good but they charge for more stuff during the school holidays now tv gives you access to the latest films apple tv was good for watching the series with Jenifer Anniston in, but after that we didnt watch anything. I would have Netflix and Amazon Prime.
I often look at the “What are you watching” thread and I cannot remember the last time anyone mentioned anything I would watch. I have absolutely no interest in drama of any genre, I don’t watch soaps and with the exception of motorcycle racing and the 6 nations rugby, I don’t watch any sport. I’m now beginning to wonder why I bought an 8K TV Andy
What else interests you? WWW2 or architecture or art or cartoon movies or action movies? Plenty of all that on both tbh.
I’m a bit of an animation buff, some sci fi (not Star Wars), I enjoy forensic archeology (not Time Team) and I like the vehicle restoration programmes where they go into the history and nitty gritty. Did enjoy the great pottery throwdown and I will stop to watch Only Connect and University Challenge. That’s about it really. Andy
