Some pins are high up, as the top of the piston is reduced for weight loss, esp if they use 2 piston rings instead of 3
65P2A006 b is ‘painted’ on both rods as is 65101160 c is painted on both rods. The 65P2 A006 b looks to be about 5mm longer than 65101160 c. On closer inspection I have a pair with a different serial number, 6522A008 a, which whilst marked ‘A’, is the same length as 65101160 b. Aarrgh. Andy
@El Toro, Hi Tel, this has got awfully complicated so I would appreciate it if you could close the thread. I’ve sent info off to Italy and have a mate in the trade seeing if he can identify what these rods are. If there is any success, I’ll re-post, if not, I guess titanium has a scrap value. Thank you.
