  2. Lol, they have left the existing roof and rafters on and just added to it, I only use the guardian warm roof, have a google and you will see what a proper warm roof is, what they have done is very untoward imho. Would love to see the structural calcs for that, it is designed to take polycarbonate not all the weight of timber, ply, tiles ,insulation, plaster board , I hope there is a tie bar in there at the very very least.

  5. Just for your reference, this is how a warm roof should be fitted, note the all aluminium construction and how the roof is vented so it can breath. There are timber constructed roofs also available, its just the Guardian is my preferred choice, these roofs are made in a factory the disassembled and delivered to site, the manufacture makes all the structural cals mainly for snow load, put 2 feet of snow on one of those roofs and it adds a lot of weight.

  6. Looking at the pictures, I would be getting a second opinion on the work already carried out. Before any problems are covered up. A few things mentioned in earlier posts already.
Amateur mistakes jump out though, post 16, top of frames should line through, thats just basic stuff..

  7. No further work has been allowed and all previous work has been rejected let’s see where we go from here!
