For some strange reason I bought a pan european in 2008 it only did 50 miles in the 3 years I owned it . On one of the two times I went out on it I gave my mates son, a 24 year old lunatic, a ride on it . He wheelied it for a good 80 meters . I never tried . Would probably killed myself.
My Guzzi LeMans would wheelie quite easily in second gear...............the first thing that happens when the throttle is whacked open, is that the flywheel causes a twist to the right while the rear end starts to rise up.........the frame climbing up around the diff is the only way I can explain that.....then when the rear shocks reached full extension, the the front would start come up at the same time as trying to compress the shocks.
