Since the crash, I have to keep logging in, the site doesn't remember my log-in, any one else have this?
I think it's to keep the riff raff out, no prob's here  No help I know, but me Grandad always said "don't you ever let a chance go by"
To the left of the red log- in box there is a tiny square box, click on that and you will remain logged in.
John's right, I dont have any issues on that front, but I do STILL have the problem when using IE8 that I cant access any notifications unless I go via my profile....no prob on Mozilla Firefox though....
Try turning compatibility mode off, its the square that looks like a torn piece of paper at the top right ish side of the screen in ie8. I used to have an issue that need it turning on, then that was fixed and now it screws up if I turn it on.
I've only just managed to get back in after the rebuild - was teetering between withdrawal symptoms and I can't be arsed trying anymore!
Well i keep ticking the wee box and it still kicks me off, will try looking for the compatibility thing!
i have the same with firefox but on my work laptop with IE it automatically logs me into the home page. The password is saved in the passwords of firefox but it is completely blank when I visit the site.
Hey all, I run Google Chrome, I went into settings and removed all Ducati cookies that were stored, and so far so good!!! I havent been chucked of once yet this evening. Maybe there is a conflict of cookies before and after the "crash". Rob, chill, have a nice glass of wine instead of investigating!!!
wot, you mean just like I suggested you do in a p.m. sent at 6:15 today, also asking to let me know if it worked for you Stevie?? EDIT (just p.m'd)
Check your inbox, I sent a reply straight after I posted this, I tried to send you a message first but when i did that straight after removing the cookies I pressed send and it came up a blank screen, I had to google and reload Ducati forum. You have a weird way of showing love, maybe try patience too, go the whole hog eh!!!
renowned for showing 'love' in the right places Stevie but more importantly I always give credit where it's due - not you apparently unless you're 'reeled in' maybe? slightly guilty conscience, no?
Chris, this kind off thing amazes me on forums etc, you very kindly offered some help, which worked thank you muchly, you solved the issue, big huge ups to you, but then you seem to demand an immediate response, if its not forthcoming you start a little spat. My reply to you by private message could only have been a minute behind my updated post. Why offer to help in the first place to start a row. So yes, here is some credit to you, you solved this issue, but you have also been the first person to start a row with me on here over what??? So check your inbox, we will see if you give credit where its due.
you call that a little spat? oh, boy.. re-reading my post above don't you think you've over-reacted slightly? I replied to what you posted at 10.42 and I can't see what all the fuss is about.
Chris apologies I have deleted my post I hope I havnt caused to much offence That's the last thing I would do I take it back
