Recoating Nickel Plated Brembos

  1. As above. Anyone know anyone that does this/ anyone had any done?

  2. I have used them to refurbish a set of Brembo M4s. Very expensive for an average job that took an inordinate time to complete as they are not bike caliper specialists so no parts are held in stock. I won’t be using them again, I’ll buy new because it won’t cost much more. Andy

  3. ill be ringing reality motor works on monday and can ask Nic if its something he does... id imagine it is as he does most types of plating and overhauls callipers. hes doing some for me atm, powdercoating though...

  5. Was looking at a pair of these for the Panti-girdle. Now that pic is putting me off.
    How old are those callipers please?
     
  6. No, old set of HPK's - be nice to find somewhere that can make them look good again!!
     
  7. Theyre old....very old - i think 25 years....theyve lasted well to be honest...

  8. Ive got a nickel plated rear on the z as well, which i think is 2 years old now and is in perfect nick....

  9. You may well be right. Gotta be worth a phone call tho' - if they can't help they might be able to point you in the right direction?
    Or maybe Bigg Red. Website very car biased but they state that they do bikes as well and they do offer electroplating. http://biggred.co.uk/ Again, I reckon you'd need to call to discuss

  10. Cheers sir....i was thinking....could do orange....but i do like the nickel plated finish...
