So I’m still in the process of slowly working my way through the toy room and dragged these out. Odd thing, there is no provision to engrave an engine number and having looked for similar case on eBay, the part numbers don't look right for standard cases. Is it reasonable to assume these are Corse cases ? Thanks. Andy
The engine number surface is there - just not been faced off and punched as was the case for race engines.
Ah, okay. I thought the machined surface was bigger. What about the part numbers though ? Given most of the bits on the pallet I got with my two RS engines are 748, I’m guessing these cases are probably 748R but I found a pair on eBay and the part numbers are different. Andy
