200 Mph On The Road

Exactly my point. An RS6 won't get to a real 200mph. And an M5 is a lot more aerodynamic than an RS6 so I can easily believe that.

And a Nissan GTR is very aerodynamic with a CD of 0.27.

They'll be released as it's a driving offence? I hope you don't expect they would be put away until a case is made or not, AFAIK it's the CPS that decide if a prosecution goes ahead or not so.

Pure conjecture here but looks like someone has 'borrowed' a mates car, one driver two arrests?

 

True, I had my mates GTR (Track ED Nismo) for a few weeks. 0-60 around 3 secs. Book top speed in excess of 190mph. Over 200mph with a mild tune. See stock vs litchfield website.

I was passed by an RS6 like I was standing still but I was only making good progress at that time.

I ‘raced’ two different RS6’s at a Vmax event at Bruntingthorpe. I was in a Porsche 997.2 turbo and hammered them. That said, nothing launches quite like a 911 turbo.

Guess it will depend on what was said during 'interview' and if they can hold the story. Seems odd that 2 persons are involved it what on the face of it would be a driving matter?

When, not if, it’s just a matter of time when they catch up with him. He is facing a custodial sentence of at least 2 years and 4 yr driving ban, and a hefty fine.

Someone very well known in the bike world got caught just sub of 150 very recently and got away with fuck all
