It’s not a problem if you don’t piss off the locals..... I travel during anti-social hours like tonight. Leave at 9pm, home at midnight so I don’t add to congestion. I spend 6 months in Devon with my family. We have a driveway so I’m not blocking people, I send presents to the one neighbour to keep them sweet etc 2nd homes aren’t a problem. It’s about respecting the local “law of the lands”. Hearts and Minds etc
I was chatting to a couple of colleagues last night, one in my trade and another scaffolder. We all agreed that we add a London weight. HVAC £100 per job and the Scaffolder said double the normal price if it's under £1000 and add £250 per day if it's more. This takes account of travel etc. Note that a Scaffolder might only do one job a day.
Vehicles over 40 years old do not pay ULEZ. Think of the emissions those old engines throw out... in a low emission zone? Now, where are the keys to the Vincent?
