while out for a spin I received the engine warning light with the dqs error, my mate had the same problem with his and he had the quickshifter replaced under warranty, but mine is just under 3 years old with 2300 miles, has anyone had any luck getting this issue sorted as I'd say 2300 miles is not a lot of miles for it to pack up, dont fancy shelling out over 250 squid for a replacement. Depends on the relationship you have with the dealer. If you bought the bike from them and routinely put money over their counter for parts and servicing then probably yes, they will approach Ducati for a goodwill repair. If however you don’t have that relationship with the dealer, then IME, even though the DQS seems to be getting a reputation for unreliability, they are unlikely to do anything. Andy
Unfortunately I bought the bike second hand and have only had one service, so looks like I'm stuffed, not sure why its so expensive as all you need is the sensor bit that screws on to the top of the rod, I think, which has two cheap as chips sensors in, but then it is a Ducati
Talk to the workshop manager face to face, you don’t get if you don’t ask and hopefully you might be surprised. Andy
Hello all, the QS on my 2016 Panigale 1299s went, showing the engine light, so I fitted a Rapid Bike QS, I have the Rapid Bike Race system on the bike already. The QS is now bypassed and deactivated as it runs through the Rapid Bike system, but I can't get rid of the engine light. Any suggestions?
