Norfolk Newbie

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Tony Richardson, Jul 29, 2020.

  1. 2014-03-12 13.44.00.jpg I am a lifelong biker of Mature years, currently riding a Yamaha MT03, due to it's light weight and lowish seat height, both very necessary for me due to being vertically challenged.
I also have a 1999 JDM Suzuki Tempter ST400 that I have had for 8 years , and have just bought my first ever Ducati, a 2006 Monster 695.
I don't ride too far these days, my last longish trip was the Classic TT in 2016, we have been to thr Island many times , indeed we had our honeymoon over there in 1972,
no dought I will be asking for advice in the near future, and looking forward to my latest ride.!

  10. 5ft6 in old money, but with only a 29” inside leg

  11. Similar to me. You should be able to ride pretty much any sports bike and most if not all nakeds without the need to resort to a lowering kit. One foot down is enough. :upyeah:

  19. Welcome... most bike racers are small so really shouldn’t be much of a problem, failing that let some air out of your tyres X
