I like pretty dry humor .. But did used to watch Phoenix Nights ( Peter Kay) as it used to remind us of a working mans Club I was a bar maid at I watched Peter Kay tonight on Tv and yes he is very lighthearted and have to say spot on when it comes to talking about people and everyday things. I actually found myself laughing loudly for once. It was just trivial stuff like your folks .... Emergency chairs at family get togethers.... ( I recall this at my Nans were you had all manor of chairs round the table at different heights ... and my aunt broke an emergency chair once). People at functions .... how a few drinks makes people act and dance. Basic people watching but was very very funny . Not taxing humor. Normally not my cuppa I liked stuff like Brass Eye and love League of Gentlemen. The worst thing I have watched has to be Mrs Browns Boys.
Absolutely agree about 'Mrs Brown's Boys' ! A load of rubbish ..........It's a rip off of 'Bread' and that was pretty bad as well ! Big train is the best ever comedy show..... IMO. Jimmy Carr is incredibly funny live, as is Ross Noble, who of course is a 'Ducatisti' !:wink:

Peter Kay is good, he just bangs the gags out like a machine gun. I also like Michael McIntyre, Rhod Gilbert, Lee Mack, Kevin Bridges. But my favourite has to be Sean Lock, :biggrin: his live shows are fantastic. Sean Lock - Lockipedia
Saw Andy Parsons last night, much less shouty live than I expected, also recently went to see Henning Wehn who was great
I saw her posting on one of my mates Facebook recently, I am led to believe she's ok, not seen much of her on the monster forum either though
