Thats motorcycle equivalent of owning a moped anything that can be done on a surf board can be done on a paddle board !!

You lads inspired me today ! the picture I put up is only amazing because its my dad who's 72 and some know his story and how much he's been through in 12 months this is him today
Haha. I have done a headstand on a paddle board - I have to agree with it being a bit dull if you've been kayaking or windsurfing as I have. However, each to their own so go for it @Biot and enjoy doing something new
I had a go at kitesurfing I didn’t get to the sea as I got stung by a bloody spiky fish that never frequented the lagoon apparently, only me that can happen too. (Portugal) Plus I couldn’t seem to train my brain to let go when I needed to stop sand rash isn’t very nice
From having lots of requests, my sailing club has just allowed paddle boards. Rationale being something to do on warm windless days or for family members who don't like sailing. One plus is the boards are inflatable, so easily transportable in the boot of your car. I can see the plus sides.
I tried this off a boat in Ibiza, the hardest thing I found was getting back on, falling off was easy! If I did it again I’d go from the coast line. There was a guy there with his two dogs on board!
I was crap at windsurfing - balance on choppy water always got me - so I'd be even worse paddle boarding, too slow and difficult to balance for me, but if you fancy it give it a go, what's the worst thing that can happen?
What's involved in international paddle boarding? Points for the best ankle bracelet/muscle vest combo? Best peroxide hair?
