As above - i think it will be ok but just wanted to check...this is for sale at motorapdio.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-S...er-Hypermotard-Monster-62540201A/172317480291 I want it for a 2009 rsvr 1000 - im pretty sure this combo is quite standard across most bikes...just want the verification... Cheers
I use this site for reference purposes .... good drawings , and all the parts are well described , along with part numbers . It makes it quite easy to hop from model to model , and check what was fitted to other bikes It's pretty handy if you're after used parts , but not sure if they are right for your bike . https://oemducati.com/ .... just a thought
I should have thrown a pic up... Heres the old one... Physically it matches - more of a piston related question...as i say i reckon it will be ok ....just wanted the verification...
definately ps13....hes an ex nutcase, back on a bike after a while - so id rather him have more brake than less....!
And it takes a turn....so i found a ps13 master cylinder on ebay....but looking at it - it looks identical to the one on the bike so...that might already be a ps13....gonna stop round his house later and grab the master cylinder, take it home strip it and measure...then i may as well order a maintenance kit as ive gone that far...!
Well, got the master cylinder home and stripped - measure the piston/plunger and its 12mm (or thereabouts) so im totally lost now!!
nah - nothing there apart from a 4 digit number (its hard to read but looks the same as the "alleged" 13mm part) although as ive just said my caliper measures 12mm.....
Already have - aprilia dont do one as a part number...think ill have to contact someone whose selling a maintenance kit and get them to measure it...
Nice ending to the problem...ordered one of these.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brembo-O...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 The 13mm piston size. Fitted it today...braking problems gone - mate reports that theres more feel than there ever was...good result.
