I know some enterprising engineers have made their own clutch holding tool by using old clutch plates. Just gone through a selection of my old plates and I have a few 1.5mm and 2mm steel compression plates, steel sintered friction plates and aluminium organic friction plates that are worn beyond conventional use. Free to anyone who wants to collect them or for the cost of the postage if you live too far away to drop by. Andy
I will wait and see if anyone is desperate for these Andy, if they are "making up the numbers" in a stack etc otherwise I would gladly pop by and pick up at some time.
Chris, I wouldn't advise anyone to make up a stack with these, the frictions are very worn and the steels are either scored or under size. You are welcome to them. Andy
