  10. I've been chasing electrical gremlins on the Cagiva Mito Evo for the past hour...

The dipped beam was an easy fix as one of the connectors had dropped off.
The brake light staying on all the time just needed the rear brake lever and switch adjusting so it didn't.
It not charging was a bit more fun. The fuses looked ok, stator resistance was fine, reg/rec checked out so I started tracing wires and checking that there were no breaks.
An orange one from the reg/rec disappeared in the wiring loom and sneakily appeared under the fuse box so I pulled the fuse and checked but the wire and it was fine. Then for some reason I checked the fuse itself and even though it looked fine, it was fooked ! One 15 amp fuse later and 13.5v at 2-3000 rpm. :D

Cheap wins all round, the sorts I like.

  12. Me and two mates got together this morning for the first time this year, for a round of golf .

We each wanted to know how the others managed to get away from our wives.

Terry said, “I purchased a dozen red roses for my wife, and she was so happy, that she let me go.”

Stuart said, “I bought a diamond ring for my wife, and she was so thrilled with me that she let me go.”

I said, “I woke up this morning, rolled over, looked at my wife, and said to her: `Golf course or inter course,’ and she said: I’ll put your clubs in the car.’"

  15. I had my leg X-rayed at my BUPA health check yesterday - the doctor said: 'Your patella measures 2.54cm'.

    I said: 'Inch-high knees?'

    He said: '您的髌骨是2.54厘米高'
