Isn't It Ironic?

  1. That's a song as well.

I've got a vague idea of the artist (American female, but I can check in seconds!)

Nobody ever phones me and then both of my phones go at exactly the same time! As they are both in the other rooms, I can't get to them quickly enough to answer! Both phones have messages. One is Specsavers reminding me to wear a facemask and bring id tomorrow - although I will be wearing a mask so how will they know it's me? The other is my rehab guy to ask about the taxi, "Why do you need to go all of the way into Bristol for this?"
"Err, I go where Specsavers tell me and it is Filton the very North of Bristol - I am not even sure that it counts as in the City of Bristol, although it is a Bristol postcode"

I wanna say that I don't give a feck. I go where DVLA tell me and I fail to give a shat as I just want the results to up my claim!

And (more importantly) rather than replying to my solicitor emails, I was trying to identify the migrating geese that flew over my house one evening about 3 weeks ago from Slimbridge!

You have to get your priorities right!!!

    Oh, and

I got the fecking album and it's lost somewhere!!! Feck!

  3. And she was born in Canada! Does hold joint Canada/USA citizenship, I think, and now lives in the USA.

Why can't people from the UK tell the difference between a Canadian accent and an American one? Or perhaps others can. I can't :confounded:

  4. I can’t either

  5. I wonder if, to them, a Scottish and English accent sounds the same?

  6. Now let me have a think ABOOT it!
    :)

  7. Doubt it, that’s their forefathers you speak of.

  8. you can tell the difference within a sentence or two. a Canadian will finish a sentence with, eh. (A). and almost always will make a point of telling you he/she is not American. its kinda the same with us when we go abroad. apparently it makes all the difference. :p

  10. One of my friends the other week/ month/year suggested that Irish was in fact just an accent, not a language!

And when I say friend I use the term very loosely.

  12. She’s taken a lot of stick over the years for some of those lyrics. She’s an absolute genius though IMO. 1 hour 29minutes ‘Thank you’ .

Up there as one of my favourite ever songs :upyeah:
