  16. Thought Wales was all deep seam mining or drift mines, around here it was either opencast or deep mining. I think depending on which side of a fault line the Coal was.


    Mind it been a while since we had any mining activity here.
     
  17. Best decision I ever made to sell up. Go small, no overheads. Still ended up with work. Probably 2 days a week on average. Could have as much as I want on building and house renovations....but I dont want it. Dont need it. Freedom mate. Take it with both hands!

  19. This drift is about 2 miles down the valley on the same side as my photos, i remember like it was yesterday poor buggers.
