A comfortable bed: it’s the thing that most disappoints in places I stop. Being 6` 4” a standard size double is pretty crap if the Mrs is with me. Looks a nice place you have there, good luck with theventure
Good point. Being tall has both advantages and drawbacks; we may have to lie diagonally. Oddly enough the cheap crappy chain hotels like Travelodge usually have very comfortable beds. It's the nice, friendly, family run places which don't.
So when you open and when can I book? Oh someone mentioned coffee and thats important. Nescafe espresso milk in first

I think the one thing that would be very beneficial considering that you are opening your marketing to a lot of bikers is CCTV - especially if there are a few bikers staying - just a security measure, im not suggesting that it is a bad area but it is a deterant! Unless of course the area where the bikes are is fairly secure??
We plan to open next spring. Probably for Easter. We dont have a booking system yet, but i'll put a post up when we are ready. It would be great to see you.
Might be cheaper to put a lockable gate on the front of the drive than installing CCTV, possibly install a few ground anchors for the paranoid ( sorry but I just can't get my head around these people who think that if they leave their bike unattended for more than a fartsbreath someone in a striped t-shirt and carrying a bag of swag is going to have it away and on eBay before first light).
But we might be able to go in March! The drying room, the fresh milk in our rooms, local sausages, perhaps you can arrange a forum post CV19 reunion?
