848 Lightweight Wheels Wanted

  2. I have a pair with discs.... not sure if they are lightweight though. Will attach photos shortly.

  7. The sticker may say “forged” but those are definitely standard cast wheels.

  9. Yeah I’ve already asked the question. Pretty sure they only made forged in a different design for other models. Some Hyper models use 5.5” rear wheel with the same bore size, and a few monster models. The part number should establish if they are just OE wheels.... Hopefully

  10. Definitely cast ones.
    Hypermotard 1100S had forged wheels (I have a set on my M1100S).

  11. 5.5” rear? Not sure what the axle OD it uses.... only other solution is change out rear hub and axle

  12. HM1100 has same axle diameter as 848.
    Not sure if 5.5in but I think it is.

  13. I had a set of forged hyper ones on my old hybrid bike. Very hard to come by and actually not a huge difference weight wise.

    I am not claiming they are forged.

  18. Was a little misleading with the stickers saying forged, and given the subject description of lightweight wheels wanted! That would confuse anyone :bucktooth: No worries Andy I did the same thing:thinkingface:
