Crank Position Sensor Connector...

  1. Silly question time again. I'm going to change the CPS (Magneti Marelli sensors) on my bike. The connector on the loom side has a metal clip to keep the connection from flying apart. Do I lift the clip, or press it down - damned if I can remember! Just don't want the metal bit disappearing into the V of the engine, never to be seen again...

  2. Sorry Can't be 100% but I think you lift it and it comes off. It then drops into the guts of the engine and takes 15 mins and a magnet to find. This is for 2002 St4s which i think is similar

  4. It’s just a depress on the clip to release. The fiddly ones are on the injectors and temp sender type connects
