Hi all, can anyone suggest a source for pin/plunger type thingy in clutch,/brake levers? Probably generic, but specifically mutley 2013.
As I recently found out, Brembo no longer provide (through Ducati) what you describe as part of the lever, only with the full master cylinder. Best bet is a used lever off eBay making sure the photo includes the plunger. Andy
Yeah, that was my fear. They properly seize, I'm worried ill shear mine which is also likely with an ebay one. Cock.
TRW is an Italian after market manufacturer that is highly regarded and there OE look-a-like lever might be an option. Andy
I managed to lose the one on my ST4 I made a replacement from a piece of a knitting needle ( luckily the gf had a box full ) It took a bit of time finding the correct diameter , and getting the length right I always meant to get a proper replacement , but never did ..... ..... it's been working fine for many years .
Do you mean the pin attached to the lever that then goes into the pump? If so, are you aware that on many levers there is a tiny grub-screw that locks the pin into position? ‘Seized’ is sometimes just a failure to slacken the screw first.
