The original Brembo discs taken from a Sport Classic (but fit many other models - see fitting chart in post 7), the only use these discs have seen is from the bike being wheeled around in a showroom. They were removed from a brand new bike when the whole front end was replaced to build the prize-winning Sport Classic Hailwood Rep in the picture below. £200.00 + p&p
Can I ask what the offset is please? I have some spoked wheels from a GT which I would like to fit alloy rims onto to put into an S4
Thanks for taking the time and trouble, I am pretty sure I will have clearance issues between the caliper and the spokes and if I spacer the discs out then the disc will not sit central to the caliper. With about 6" of snow on the ground it is too bloody cold in the garage at the moment to dry build the forks, axle and calipers and have a good measure up and see if I can finesse a workable solution. GLWS.
These discs came off the original spoked wheels (I bought them too) if that helps, but I cannot offer any insight into how they may line up in ST2 forks/calipers. Good luck with the project
Further to questions regarding disc fitment/interchangeability, I looked up the Sport Classic discs on offer here, they are listed as disc model range 614 and they are shared by all the listed models below: The above was taken from the EBC catalogue, attached is a link to the Brembo version confirming the same fitments, albeit with different part numbers (at £182 per disc!) https://www.biketorqueracing.co.uk/pdf/BIKE_TORQUE_RACING_BRAKES_2017.pdf
If you do go this route I can recommend the ebayer tomchan007 He has rear 17x5.5 takasago rims at really good prices. I'm busy doing exactly as you suggest..re-lacing alloy rims with stainless spokes (central wheel Birmingham) to GT hubs. Also Japanese tubeless rim sealing inner tape..so you can run tubeless tyres..(big weight saving over stock GT boat anchors!) Cheers Grant Snip: [incorrect info]
-bump- Still available. Also worth confirming, they are Brembo Part Number 78B40870/2 As will be seen from their catalogue, they fit a very large range of Ducati (and other brands') models
Hello Chace Please see this link to the official Brembo catalogue, p.15 lists these discs for the 916 models. https://www.biketorqueracing.co.uk/pdf/BIKE_TORQUE_RACING_BRAKES_2017.pdf
