At a loose end today waiting 4 something to happen, so screwed the tidy head on and had a bonfire plus i changed the airfilters over on the 996.
I definitely don’t need the stress. The package would have to extremely, and I mean extremely good to even tempt me.
Booked 2 places for my Son and me at Steve Boasts Flat track school. http://www.flattrackschool.co.uk/main/
Main Doorman Harvey Nicks Leeds? Go on you’re gagging to tell us -what passes muster for an ‘exemplary package’ in northern climes?
Set off this morning for some exploring on my wee Honda as it has heated grips and hand guards. After a few miles decided that riding in a blast freezer was not the best thing to be doing. Then spent most of the day raking moss and dead grass out of the rear "lawn". This at least kept me warm and gave me some much needed exercise. The moss is a bit like expanding foam and the first 20 minutes filled the green bin - even after jumping in it to stamp the moss down. Also got a letter from the "Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service" inviting me to sit in a cinema with 14 other unlucky punters watching trial proceedings on the big screen. Can't say I am enthused with the idea at all.
Nothing major Anthony, just new oil & filter plus the antifreeze changeover, new airtube filters also a new clutch pushrod is on backorder from my local as the existing one is very worn on the shaft, the needle roller bearing has been change as this was found tobe broken when looking into a slipper clutch fitment last weekend.
Hit a load of golf balls into a driving net in my back garden , whilst imagining each one was a member of the government , I felt much better afterwards .
did some gardening!! got so carried away I managed to ruin a jersey/jumper, those old dead rose branches don't take prisoners.
Managed to get out with a mate and blow the cobwebs away. Nothing monumental just about 80 miles but very pleasant. Unfortunately had to detour into Andover because “someone” (not me) forgot to reset their trip and got low on fuel but no matter, most of the journey was out in the wilds and away from civilisation and it wasn’t that cold, temperature hit a heady 11 degrees at one point. Nice bacon roll at a van the Andover side of Ludgershall as well (van is there, 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday). Andy
