C-spanner

  1. Does anyone know what size c-spanner I need to adjust the chain on a Hypermotard 1100 evo and I probably need a c-spanner for the shock too ?

  2. Dunno but you can buy one on eBay for £12.99.

So what you up to these days since you bailed from Oasis?

  3. I see them on eBay only not sure what size

  4. Two very different things. Does your tool kit not have one for the chain?

  5. The tool kit is tiny without a chain tool, not sure if should of been in the kit or missing.

  6. Loop some string or a long cable tie round the adjustment boss. Measure its length to get the circumference, then use pi to get the diameter...

  7. It’s normally a rectangular hollow bar with a c-end that slots into it so it creates a c spanner for chain adjustment

  9. I had a lot of aggro with those poxy OE c spanners so I got a much bigger one off flea bay and makes the job a whole lot easier.

  10. I may have lost a nuckle or two’s skin over the years

  11. We all know how crap gets into the swingarm and gathers around hub making it stiff to rotate. The hub needs to be cleaned/lubed, then the small c spanner does the job fine.

  12. Not if you have gorilla fingers like mine. The larger C spanner gets a much better grip on the hub
