  3. The camera was having a sabbatical yesterday.

  4. Nope don’t believe you :)

  5. Took the W650 up to Backwater reservoir. Not as nice as a couple of weeks ago on the SB200 but very warm, humid and windy. (Should have a picture of the 900 Supersport later this week or next week - if it passes its MOT tomorrow!).

The front SJ4000 camera stopped working as a dash-cam on the way back. Turns out the USB socket is kaput. Just hope I remember how to put it back together once replaced.

Also, when I got back noticed Torti' cat was trying to pee but couldn't and she seemed to be in pain. So we are just back from the vet. She has bad cystitis and is now pumped full of various medications. Hopefully it will clear up in a few days. She does not like going to the vet.

  6. After 654 miles around Wales in the last 3 days I am now back home.

Roads were fantastic. Though whether I’d say the same thing if it had pissed down all the time I’m not so sure ;)

  11. The only reason I just spent a couple of hours having my first (but disappointing) eat-in Indian meal & obligatory beers for over a year is a bloody bike issue :(
Plan was to whiz over the old Severn bridge to the Wye valley with steady Stu to enjoy the twisties there. Half way over the bridge Mr Hyper-939 went into limp mode which was sorted with a rolling on/off. Probably a recurrence of the MAP-sensor error from a year or so ago. WTF - a few miles later the low-oil-pressure light went on and the whole thing died. Plenty of oil, never had this before, so I restarted and all is well + the engine light from the mid-bridge failure went off. Ride home was uneventful... any clues?? I'll check the oil-pressure sensor but jeeps - this thing is just 3 yrs & 4800mls in.....

  12. First off I finished cleaning the wheels of the Scrambler after the last few days in Wales. I then decided to polish up the tank and all the plastics with acf50 and it’s now gleaming again :upyeah:

Then I did some gardening with SWMBO. Picked weeds and moved some plants and bushes about. That was warm work :)

After lunch I called into my old place of work to scavenge some TFR so I could clean the drive where there was a few spots of oil dropped recently. Job jobbed :)

Tonight, because it’s our wedding anniversary, we are off out for a meal in a new Thai restaurant that’s opened up in the next village :)

  17. Well what a day, up bright and early this morning so completed a kitchen laminate flooring made by Quickstep the ones that sponsor the Pro-cyclists etc, a quality product with this being my third floor installation by this manufacturer & then a treat on the ninesixteen.
Outward bound all good but on the return trip the bike packed up just five minutes from the property but with all the kit on today / full face as well in this weather pushing the damn thing it was more like 20/30 bloody minutes.
The only problem was i couldn't get the land rover moved as no keys, so strapped the bike up so the doors would just about close.
Then i received a goodnews phonecall from my local (Pete:upyeah:) the Fabris Lane sunglasses have returned after 7 days OWOL, they look in the same condition when pinched but very knackered like the owner but have sentimental value :)....Don't mess with Protwins or else.:punch:;)
