Lovejoy was a brilliant program, I thought! It mist be around on one if the catch-up services. That has prompted me to have a look!
Isn't that the way everyone tries to do it? I know what you mean though - buy it now from a business with good feedback seems to be the easiest way to go.
Not me no. If I saw something I wanted to bid on I’d bang in a fair bid. More often than not I’d have better things to do at the end of an auction. Unless it was something big.
I used to snipe on bids but it gets tedious in the end, nowadays I bid what I think it’s worth and just hope I win. Last thing was a Dainese one piece leathers little used £125.
Normal people know what something is worth - unfortunately ebay sellers look at the value - add all the fees ,then expect someone to pay the inflated price. I'm looking at gopro 9s at the moment and second hand / almost new are asking over 300 quid - brand new on the gopro website are only £329
Agree. Some guy wanted £125 plus £15 p&h for some clip ons and loved about 3 miles from me. So messaged saying I’m local, I’d pay £100 and collect and inserted my no so he could contact off eBay. He said fees were going to mean anything less than 115 and he was only getting 100 and missed the point. They didn’t sell.
