I bought some off eBay from Germany, eye wateringly expensive, because I broke one, I have the off side one , and a broken , possibly repairable one for the nearside, off 1198 but should fit. Let me know if they might be of interest and I'll dig them out and post a pic

When you say ridiculously expensive how much were they , found some Oberon on Bay at £75 which does seem steep for bits of plastic ! Get back to me again , cheers Stu
Paid about £90 for genuine Ducati ones, I'll dig them out, won't be for a day or so as they are at the other house. I'd snap up the Oberon ones if I were you, depending on how long they are, the Ducati ones are 30-40mm, I'd have to measure them, but by 1098 has quite short extenders, it's worth checking
The Oberon ones on EBay are for 1098/1198 but not 848 it says?? I was under the impression they were all the same?? Anyone know for definite ? See what you dig out when you get chance , thanks
How odd, the Oberon web site doesn’t show a wing mirror extension for the 848, which like you, I could have sworn was the same. Andy
There is a seller on eBay, listing a pair of mirrors that states they fit all models of the 848/1098/1198. £70 is a lot to take a punt though. Andy
Ivor, I'd like to take you up on that offer please. Happy to pay postage etc at least that way i can establish if they will fit my 848 before buying something that doesn't fit. ( messaged EBay seller and they say theirs wont fit 848?) I'll PM you my details . Cheers

Will be in post tomorrow, left hand near side is damaged, probably repairable, the internal screw thread broke but I think I fixed it ( araldite) only 3 screws but should suffice to see if they fit
