I thought the rumours of Rossi giving up riding were highly exaggerated.

 

And there was me thinking he was gay

 

I wonder what excuses he came up with for the past two years trying to get a positive result,

The way things are going, the kid will be on a moto3 bike in 9 months or so.

I really don't care, either way as it is not my business. I was just repeating slurs that I heard from others - and just trying to stir things up for cheap laffs!

For myself, he has to be one of the best in my life time and I could not care less if he was gay - which I don't think that he is, but just cleverer than most think. Just coz he didn't "parade" a tidy girlfriend around the paddock, as most others do, and was a a bit more private, is no bad thing in my book.

The guys sexuality is his own business. No-one else’s. Ill admire him regardless. Speculating is a worthless exercise and serves only to betray inner insecurities. Homosexuality is not a crime. Who you love is just who you love. Bigots and homophobes can fuck right off.

 

Just to clarify, I'm not questioning or condemning anybody's sexuality. It was PerryL's statement I thought was rather naive.

 

Congrats to them both, he'll have his hands full post retirement now regardless.
