One or two of you know that i had an incident on my motorcycle back in July, the damage from the exhaust on fire was contained at the rear end only, the question for helpful members - is there anybody on here that can repair this undertray for me, or point me in the right direction with a silmilar problem.
Try Mike in Norfolk who repairs carbon fibre. Mostly bicycle carbon frames and wheels but he has done some repairs for me in the past, notably the bellypan on my wife's Monster. Perfect job and barely visible. He's also built his own drag bike with a bespoke carbon fibre body and also repairs Kevlar panels as well. Definitely worth contacting him. Don't let his rather shabby looking workshop put you off either. He knows his stuff. H Q Fibre Products Blofield Rd, Lingwood, Norwich, NR13 4AJ 01603 713972
The paper mache king by the looks of things, what the hell's that stuff and if i don't go for carbon on carbon repair, could you possibly do it for me.?
Excellent i can speak on the dog and bone & send email photographs in for a quote i guess for a professional repair.
I'd no idea as i only did one straight forward carbon repair before now, but this is beyond my pay grade.
Another ex-paratrooper on the D.I.Y,....much appreciated on the offer and i might just take you up on it. I did have a lightbulb moment, quite possibly the existing undertray could be removed and a direct replacement reglued into position might be the quickest route based on your comments about oil seepage.
That sounds encouraging, as for character building i think Jake Dixon had a very large portion this weekend in motogp's.
