So what have you done today..?

  1. Yeah i used those on the kitchen tap today as get out of jail card, but be careful they don't fold as this would be reducing the water feed flow for the water outlet.

  2. Last day in Bath. A trip to the Roman baths, they really were a clever lot. Then afternoon tea in the 'pump rooms'.
Decent drive home, just over 3 hrs. Moto GP later.

  3. Nothing wrong with flexi pipes as long as they don't kink, nice smooth lines work.

  5. Been to see the dental hygienist who tells me I need to see the guy who did my implant as there seems to be a problem, that I didn’t know about, and can’t tell either

Spent the past hour vacuuming whilst SWMBO does the rest of the cleaning around the house.

Now having a latte before we go out for lunch then go to Leeds to pick the grandchildren up from school :)

  6. You don't have a basin wrench? They're cheap and frankly make the job possible.

bit “Lah di dah “for me, ^ but what the hell.
now I see that, I know I bought one but can't remember where it is, it even has the 90 deg flip facility from memory.

Had a really good ride on Ugly No 2 today, only 30 miles but bike rode well - I think the ear plugs helped as I probably worry less about the loud exhaust.

  15. Popped into my local surgery at 8:30am to request a phone call consultation followed by a quick purchasing trip to a local tool shop and then an automotive paint supplier. Popped home for coffee and a bit of breakfast and my phone call consultation. Success, Naproxin prescribed :D Next, headed out to my local powder coater with a couple of master cylinder/wing mirror clamps for media blasting and painting and back to the tool shop to drop my DeWalt compressor for a much needed service as they promised a quick turnaround. Big town next to visit another tool shop for a couple of bits the first tool shop didn’t have. MR next for a clutch master cylinder piston and seal kit and an oil seal for a rear axle eccentric. Back home via the dispenser to collect my prescription and then start to strip the old bearings out of the eccentric .... now I have jumbo circlip pliers. Made a few phone calls to source bearings whilst enjoying a mug of Java and then ........ finished for the day. Might even enjoy a chilled beer .... or two to toast a successful day. Andy

  16. Nearly crashed my push bike on the way home from work. Twice...
Too fast into a greasy roundabout, back broke away just after I tipped it in..
Then about a mile later tipped the bike into a 90 left and the front tucked as it had punctured..
Managed no dabs on either of them but decided to head home as clearly today was only going to get worse...

  17. just remembered that I have a scan to check for an aortic aneurysm tomorrow. My Grandfather died from this so appreciate the NHS thinking of me regards this, without a prompt from me. :upyeah: It's also worth anyone following up on a bowel check if you get offered one - if, earlier in your life, you have ever had polyps detected here or anywhere else for that matter, then there is a greater risk that a cancer can develop here even 30 years later.
