Just brought Gizmo the flying French bulldog home. X-ray today for his leg. Yes it’s broken and he has a nice cast. Full week from first consultation. Told it was a sprain. Didn’t get much better with rest so took him in this a.m. Nice bill! He seems more comfy in his cast. Bloody kids and dog never stop costing.
A little late in the season but more leaves again today before the grass is completely killed off for good, plus some repairs on the fencing, it was cracking good weather so why not take some exercise i thought.
Started to search for a Snowboard holiday for me and the lad, might be heading to Canada or USA for ease of travel.
After a very long wait; pandam, loom breaking and TNT taking 3 months to get my wheel. I HAVE IT, yaay.
Helped one of our guys remove some posts in a school. They were two feet in the ground and and three, three hundred mm coach bolts through each post. Then had to hump them 200 metres up the path to the flatbed. Shoulder is rubbed raw, totally knackered. Got to help him again tomorrow to take out the last 30 posts. I'm meant to be a delivery driver. 48, but feel 68 tonight. Wife had the brain wave of taking a bike jacket shoulder armour and putting under my jumper. Fingers crossed it helps. At least it was a lovely bright day!
He was due to race last week in a pap pap but was replaced by another driver. He’s endurance racing iirc.
The planes are flying in the back of your house and out the front because you've left the landing light on.
Finished helping take out the remaining logs. Gorgeous bright day again. Fresh cycle ride home from work. Hot shower to help the aching bones, Mrs is just off to get some fish and chips, happy days.
Haven’t done much today really……bit of tidying up in the garden, that’s all. Also found out that Christopher Dean (of Torvill and Dean fame) now lives in our village apparently.
