Hello everyone. I bought a Ducati 796 Hypermotard 2012 that someone tried to seal it. I bought it from local store but they had no keys and no card that comes with. I want to know if it is possible to buy a new set of keys/code card that match together of course (can be found on eBay) and then pairing it to my actual dashboard, or is the only way is to collect the code that is inside my dashboard and make new keys with? It's very tricky on Ducati with immo/pairing/dashboard etc... Any advice would be awesome
Sorry cannot help. The bike uses the M3C ECU. Do not think Scorpio can help as well. I think the dash is sealed and needs cutting to expose the data pins. Then TMPro needs to be used to read the eeprom. Looking like you need to source a dash/ECU/Lockset/keys.
Hello, thank you Ive sent an email to Scorpio. But since the 796 HM uses I2k immo system the code isn't stocked into ECU but dashboard, so ECU is not a problem, any ECU from a 796 HM could be used, only dashboard is paired with key, ECU only manages immo off/on.
Gotcha, anyway I'll see what Scorpio tell me but yeah it looks like very tricky... a full set is way too expensive almost 1000€. Thanks guys for helping, i appreciate it
