Hi all, I have a monster 796 with mivv exhaust and rapidbike evo fitted. I have a problem where when cruising around 4000 RPM(ish) the EML light will come on. When riding spiritedly it's fine and no lights come on. I've attached a photo of the codes I have and hopefully someone could give me somewhere to start. I replaced the vertical o2 sensor this morning and it has made no difference. Thanks in advance Phil
The Rapid bike could be conflicting with the stock mapping and causing the closed loop to lean out. Ideally you would have the lambdas disabled in the ECU mapping. Have you junked the Cat as well.
If you have no Cat then why retain the Lambdas. Defeating the emissions reasons for having them. Rapid bike state their device changes the closed loop signal to fool the ECU but this appears to not be happening. So I tried the o2 delete and went for a short ride and still the EML came on. Is there a way to turn off the o2 sensors in the rapidbike software?
Is the rapidbike Evo a quick removal? To eliminate that from the problem. Clear the faults and run bike without it.
I few bits to disconnect but I might buy the eliminator and see if that works or even take it to somewhere who can understand the mapping maybe
