Took me Three rows, couldn’t be @rsed to fill the emojis in, I see that although it is like cows and bulls, the added complication is that each entry must be a word, very clever, I thought there wouldn’t be enough word variables but it’s extremely clear that there are

Yes, but not being able to do the computations in my head, it didn’t occur to me that you could suggest a new five letter word over and over, and also be able to get to your goal, i.e. the correct word.

As the article says it uses “American English”, if there is such a thing, even though it was designed by a Brit. I have always thought that there is the Queen’s English and there are mistakes.
