Hi All, I could really need some advise on this one. Running self-diagnosis on the ECU on my 1199, I get an Unknown Error P2227. The bike is running normally and I get no errors or warnings on the dashboard. When riding the bike, there is nothing indicating any initial issues. Any experience with this error code, pointers or ideas how to identify the issue would be awesome. Thank you very much in advance.
P2227 is a generic error code for barometric pressure sensor, possibly indicating a faulty MAP sensor. There are two, one for each cylinder.
Thank you very much for your reply. So I am looking at replacing a MAP sensor to fix the issue? (sorry, I am a technical noob, so wanted to ensure I understand your feedback correctly).
